Maria Costa  -Executive Producer/Producer/Writer

Maria has a strong educational background in Television and Film Production from Wayne State University.  In Detroit, she began her producing and writing career on PBS for several of their programs. Upon arriving in Los Angeles, Maria combined her producing experience with the entrepreneur values instilled in her early on to create thought provoking and hilarious projects. She produced and wrote the sketch comedy troop 'No.Spic.English', which headlined  at The Ice House for several months and her first one person show 'Afrospic', but her phenomenal 'Macho Men and the Women Who Love Them' is what has caught fire throughout her fans and in the press. Critics describe her as the up and coming 'Latina Tyler Perry' due to the rarity of performers who produce and write their own material.  After being cast repeatedly in stereotypical Latina roles, Maria began writing her own funny and sexy material to empower Latinos and dissolve any negative stereotypes.

Francisco Segovia -Executive Producer/Producer

Francisco joined forces with Maria to create Oro Entertainment in 2004. A fixture in the Latino community, business-savvy Segovia has been on the cover of La Opinion's Finance Ssection twice and is considered one of the top leaders in Latino business and investment.  His background in finance and investment has given 'Macho Men and the Women Who Love Them' feet to stand on and essentially brought the show to another level.   From meager beginnings at 50 seat theaters, he has opened up Macho Men to bigger and better venues seating over 5000 viewers.  Together Maria and Francisco have future plans to build ORO Studios where they will produce and green light projects that empower Latinos across the globe.
