Image Entertainment Inc., a leading home entertainment company, acquired Maria Costa’s live comedy concert DVD, “Macho Men and the Women Who Love Them”, for domestic and foreign distribution. Maria, who has been called the female John Leguizamo, has sold out audiences up to 5,000 people across the country with "Macho Men" and most recently brought down the house at the Kodak Theatre. The DVD is expected to hit stores everywhere early 2010. Image has also distributed comedians; Jamie Fox, Kat Williams, Wanda Sykes and Margret Cho as well as their newest films “Management” starring Jennifer Anniston and Woody Harrelson as well as “The Other Man” starring Liam Neeson and Antonio Banderas.

Maria won the One of the “Top 10 Performances of the Year Award” for 16 city, 6 country international Armed Forces Macho Men tour. Other winners included Sinbad, Tommy Davison and D.L. Hughley. Maria and the Macho Men cast were proud to bring laughter to thousands of U.S. troops overseas throughout Germany, Spain, Turkey, Portugal and other countries.
