Maria Costa described by critics as the "Latina Lucille Ball" and "female John Leguizamo" introduces her new comedy special, "Shades of Machos" featuring LIVE musical performances by Billboard Music Award Winner Toby Love. 'Shades' is Volume 2 of her hit show "Macho Men and the Women Who Love Them", which has toured worldwide and is streaming live on Amazon Prime. In 'Shades', Maria discusses marriage and what it is like to be an alpha career-focused women who was raised with traditional values, and how she balances the two mindsets. Maria takes on relationship dynamics and dating amongst Latinos as well as with in the African American community. She also discusses her mixed race background as a Cuban/Hungarian women and how her Eastern European grandmother, as well as Cuban family, influenced her life and views on love.
